Happy Easter everyone :)
Anyway, I haven't been updating or checking this journal in quite some time. I'm considering retiring this journal (not deleting it of course since I do want to read back on my entries once in a while) as I feel like I don't have much to say anymore. But of course, that all could change and I could go on a posting frenzy once school ends :)
So anyway, quick update, I am back at school (yuck), it's my last quarter and I'm currently looking for a job after I graduate. I'm under consideration for one right now sooooooo I hope I get it :)

So yesterday, Jane, John and I decided to go to the Getty. We set off from Jane's house at 9, but not before going to Sav-ons and getting cheap snacks. Then Jane filled up her gas tank and off we went! We got there around 10 and even though we were really early, the parking structure was kinda full.
After getting off the tram to the Getty, we set off on our ADVENTURE:

I'm at the UCI library, studying/procrastinating in anticipation of my 1:30 final. Can't wait to get that done with and then I can go home, shop with Audra, read all the books I borrowed from the library and watch all the House and Arrested Development episodes I missed. Maybe I'll watch The Office Christmas episode since that one was so hilarious.
My brother comes home next week and I think I'm going to go watch Russell (I can never remember if it's two L's or one)Peters and maybe go to the Madrigal dinner thing that's being held at UCI.
My stomach is growling :(
There is like no one on campus today...it's so quiet.

1. Finished my 20 page research paper and I hope I get an A. My TA said in his comments on my rough draft that if I just turned it in with no revisions, I'd be in B+/A- range so I'm hoping that with revisions I'd be in A range :)
2. Studying for finals...total boredom time. I'm actually at the library right now, trying to study my ass off for my finals on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday but I'm failing since I get distracted and I just don't want to study!
3. Got a new laptop this last Black Friday and I'm using it now. It's a Toshiba Satellite L20/L25 and I love it :)
4. Sake grew bigger and I have a few pictures of him that I'll upload later (if I remember and if I don't feel lazy). He's actually getting along with Tigger and Wendy, although sometimes I notice he provokes them into barking at him. Bad kitty.
5. Classes for next quarter seem a hell of a lot more interesting than my classes this quarter. I'm especially looking forward to my Business Law class.
6. I started on my Christmas shopping but I'm definitely not done yet. I also made a list of people I need to write cards for so...I'll probably get that done after finals. Along with cleaning up my incredibly messy room. I seriously don't have any space to move in there.
7. My family is doing great. My brother is getting settled at Stanford (he's declaring his major by the end of this year) and my sister just finished her college apps. I hope she gets into good schools :) My grandfather got a little sick around Thanksgiving and we thought he wasn't going to make it (he felt so bad that he wanted the whole family to come visit him just in case) but he pulled through and he's doing fine.
8. Audra had her gallery opening (it was fun and yes I was enticed by the food served there). And I definitely need to hang out with all of my friends this winter break. Maybe a road trip you guys?
9. Still looking for a job after graduation...I'm starting to panic now but I won't let myself go into ful stress mode until after finals.

This quarter reminds me of senior year in high school when everyone was going crazy applying to colleges and stuff. I am just so majorly busy this quarter it's not even funny. I'm trying to get an internship for the field study class I have to take before I graduate (unfortunately the internship has to be according to my major so any Boeing internship is out of the question) and no one has replied to me yet! I've been calling and leaving messages and it's nearly impossible to hear something back. ARGH.
And of course now I've started worrying about what I'm going to do AFTER I graduate. I applied to one rotational program at Boeing but I just found out that I'm no longer under consideration (probably because I'm not a finance major or whatever). So that really sucks. I'm thinking about applying for this Boeing internship/co-op that could lead to a full time position but I don't know....I really wish I had more time to do things. Maybe I should drop my management minor? Everything is so mixed up now I don't really know what to do.
Audra's birthday party was yesterday and we went kinda crazy. hahaha, I didn't even drink yesterday! First we had everyone wear these silly nametags with really really weird made up names. Like one guy randomly selected a nametag that said "Hello, I'm erectile dysfunction" My name tag was "Hello, I'm SEXY BEAST." We basically pigged out at the party and sang really bad karaoke to song by the Eagles, Mariah Carey and J.Lo. It was so hilarious. Audra and I also teamed up to play foosball against these other guys. Anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY POOF (if you read this entry).

Soooooo today was my last day of work. It was also the day my brother went back to Stanford and I MISS HIM ALREADY.
I got out of the house extra early (which was made easier by the fact that I had already picked out my outfit the night before). I went over to Krispy Kreme and picked up 2 dozen regular glazed doughnuts but I think the woman forgot and gave me one box of regular and another box with a variety of flavors.
After getting to Boeing, I dragged my two huge bags of goodie bags into the building and started distributing them around to my coworkers. It was really cool since people were really complimentary and said they'd miss me :) I also got a ton of cool stuff from all of them yesterday at my luncheon. After walking distributing everything, I went to my car to pick up the Krispy Kreme doughnuts and took them to the cell meeting. Gordon talked about how special he felt about the card I wrote him, until he asked John and Luis if they got cards too....and I did write them long notes so he felt unspecial after that. LOL I showed off my puzzle solving skills (Gordon was making fun of me last week since I didn't get it) and everyone was amazed at how fast I could do it, although it was hard to put the final piece in since the puzzle wasn't exactly built that great.
I got a business card from Mike, one of the directors, which was cool. I also passed out a bunch of my business cards and everyone was complaining how they couldn't get business cards but an intern who is just there for a couple of months can get business cards.
I went and had long chats with Mary, who is super nice, and she promised to keep in touch and I hope she and everyone else does since I don't know if I'll see those people again considering that the program is moving elsewhere. I used up my last lunch ticket and had a solitary lunch; which was okay since I needed to finish up some last minute things and pack my stuff. After lunch I went to move my car to the parking lot near the badge place (which is where I go last to turn in my badge and pick up my last paycheck). I got a REALLY CRAPPY parking spot too, probably because I decided to move my car when everyone was coming back from lunch.
I said my last goodbyes to my coworkers and then wandered over to building 14 to say my goodbyes to people there. I went to John first and chatted a bit until Gordon snuck up behind me and poked me in the side again. He then did this fake crying thing and ended up getting all this powdered sugar on his face since he was finishing up the doughnuts that were left. He then told me to go take a walk with him and he showed me the pool onsite which is used for astronaut training or testing anything that needs to be used in weightless conditions. We then walked back and he showed me a bunch of funny movie clips on his computer and then when 3:30 came (which was the time I needed to go to the badge place to pick up stuff) he hugged me and I asked if he wanted to walk me out (and hold some of my heavier bags hahaha).
The badge people were really strict about me not having Glenn sign out on my clear out form and they weren't even going to let me go so I called Glenn on my cell and he told them verbally to let me go. Weird........so yeah, Gordon puts the stuff in my car and I drive off. I actually didn't cry this time around, although earlier in the day when I was talking to Patty I felt really teary.
So yeah, that was my day...tomorrow, school starts and I DREAD IT. ARGH.

Today I turned 21.
And nope, I haven't participated in any drunken revels yet. Thank you to all of you who wished me a happy birthday :) And thank you to all of my family and friends for making me feel special today...I don't say it often enough but I hope you know that I LOVE YOU GUYS!
I guess I should make this a mini update...I do have things going on in my life but I just haven't felt like updating lately.
Update on family:
Everything is pretty much fine in this area. My sister is cramming for her SATs and my brother is helping her study (he's so much more patient than me). My parents are getting things ready for my brother to leave once again for the University of Nerdiness (otherwise known as Stanford). Recently, I've been getting annoyed with my siblings and my parents but I think it's just my weird mood swings. Sake is getting along fine with Tigger and Wendy and he also got neutered this week so hopefully he won't go wandering around the neighborhood.
Update on school
Accounting is finally and thankfully done with. I actually ended up getting an A in the class; surprising actually since I didn't study for the final. But hey, I'm not complaining. UCI's fall quarter starts up on the 23rd of this month which means I have to remember to pay my tuition later this week and to pick up books and recheck my schedule (I have no clue when I have classes).
Internship
I have three weeks left in this internship which means I better get off my ass and start writing those thank you cards and putting together those little candy bags to give to people on my last day. I'm really really going to miss working at Boeing...it's also kinda sad since I know I probably won't see most of those people again since the program I'm working on is moving to Denver. Michelle, one of the other interns, already left like a week ago and Steve is leaving next week.
I've noticed that at work, if you're young and kind of cute looking, a lot of the men check you out. It's sort of creepy and sort of flattering in a way. And it's bad but I don't feel guilty using that to my advantage; not that I'm wearing low cut shirts and mini-skirts but I know I can subtly charm them into helping me to get something done or letting me join a juicy project. And it's not like I'm useless either; people know I can get things done and that I am smart enough to figure my way out of problems and things like that.
Anyway, enough rambling and stuff for now. I'm so sleepy.

I hate accounting.
I HATE it with a FIERY FIERY PASSION THAT BURNS LIKE THE STOMACH OF A PERSON PRONE TO INDIGESTION WHO JUST ATE INDIAN CURRY.
Maybe it's the way I'm being taught it right now but yeah...can't stand the class and I can't wait until it is finally finally THANKFULLY over this Wednesday.
